This is Faustine's inner fear, her monster self.

The idea was to create to our survival horror rp characters a pendant. A monster that represent the dark inner side.
I've got that inspiration from Silent Hill. The protagonists mostly have a certain monster that is personaly connected to them. I think it was created out of fear, the dark sides of their life/past and a feeling of guilt. Thats my theory, but there is no correct solution to this. Just theorys.
In SH 2 it is Pyramid Head, in SH 3 it is Valtiel for example.

So here is Faustine's monster/ghost ego.

Meaning of the creature:
It should express a lonely, untouchable ghost, that desires for physical proximity, but actually it prisoned itself with the own hands and thoughts. So it is bound to be alone.
It cannot speak and listen, but it is able to see and desire.

Background story to this (a very short summary xD) :

Faustine never got a lot of friends when she was young, she was pushing the most people out of her life, probably because she was feared to be disappointed.

When she grew up she went to the army and during that time a genetic error was detected in her (It avoids that she suffers from haemorragic fevers, but still she can carry them around, like a living Petri dish). She accepted to be a lab rat then. Most of her life she spend in labs and got through a lots of examination. Plus the genetic error (or more the haemorragic fevers that are now in her) didn't allow her to have closer contacts anymore.

So she was forced at the end to be more or less alone and built a mental barricade around her.

She still works for the army^^

I know it looks not that similar with the 'ghost ego', but it shouldn't be just a bad mirror reflection xD It reflects her inner fear, no just her look.
